The Fae Dance
Come to the dance all are welcome here
be you Goblin,pixie or fae.
We will dance by the moon to a rare olde tune
played in our own special way,
on harp and on flute with wind at our moot
we will jigger and skip all the way-
till the sun does come up
and we all fly off
to begin a brand new day.

a Story the fae will tell -
We were there when Arthur his sword did claim
and set about his Court.
We watched him marry his Guinevre
and when Lancelot tore her heart,
We saw as MOrgana's wicked ways
brough Merlin to his knees -
and her dark craft ways sort out Arthur's crown
for Modred that sad day.
We watched as young knights their mission bold
rode away to follow their king -
with Richard away and John at Play
we saw how our land was wrought.
With bandits and Out laws we helped in fight
till Richard returned once more -
to take up his crown and Kingdom once more
was his one and only thought.
Dark Ages came and in forests we lay
forgotten by folk we aided -
But now time has passed and at last we regain
the love of our human nieghbours.
