A Fae's morning
At early light fresh with dew
a fae will begin her day anew -
there are flowers to awaken
and cobwebs to be shaken
to set the garden for view.
Off to the court she then must fly
stretching her wings up to the sky
over the moat to the castle up high
to greet her queen - hurry the morning is nigh
Once her chores for the day are all done
then there is time to sleep in the morning sun
but little fae are excited today
will she please come out to play.
with laughter and love the fae
swoop from above
all giggles and fun leave their jobs - all undone
to gather and play on the morn of the new day .

Days past
Step in dear fae
and hear a tale
of days of long ago
When forest folk and fae alike
dwelt together under trees of oak.
together with humans us fae did dwell
wise woman fae and hermit as well-
all drawn together under fae's magic spell.
The purpose served both sides well.
But those days past they weren't to last-
Humans, friends and forest folk
had turned their backs on the fae.
they made life bad for our type -
and the fae had to fly away.
Deep into the dark woods they fled
using trees for home and forest floor for bed -
A hard life they did lead.
But fae are kind and forgiving
and soon sort a new way of living
in a fairy realm they started dwelling
They still watch out for their humans below
and should any loose their way -
send love and fae kisses and lots of wishes
to help them not to stray.

To Avalon
Princess Rosie
Long before the dawn breaks
i find myself awake,
to take a walk into the woods to visit
the beautiful lake.
I venture out into the damp fresh air
and stop for a second or two
taking in the beauty of the early morning dew.
I walk on slowly no need for a pace
with fresh air and mosture kissing my face.
I walk to the rivers edge and suddenly i hear
a lapping like peaceful wings
but no bird ever arrives
but a barge that does appear
Gracefully sliding on the river of glass
it glides to the far shore
three ladies dressed in form of blue
are riding at the fore
The mist comes down - where has it gone - why to AVALON>
