Goodness, My Goodness.. Maiden has been so busy lately. Here is a recipe
for the Fairy Cooking School... They are so yummy for the tummy and Maiden just
loves to pieces....

Heart Sugar Cookie with Strawberry Purée

Cream together:

1 stick of butter

1 stick of unsalted butter

1 tablespoon of vanilla

1 cup of organic sugar

2-egg whites

Add:

1 teaspoon No-Sodium Baking Soda

1/2 teaspoon No-Sodium Baking Powder

2 3/4 cup of All-Purpose Flour

Use a hand mixer and blend all of the ingredients together. The dough will be a little stiff but that is okay. If it is too stiff, add a little water. Take a large zip-lock bag and place the cookie dough in it. Roll it flat to about ¼ thick and lay flat in the freeze for 30 minutes to an hour.

Dust your counter lightly with some flour and cut open the zip-lock bag. I use a large heart shape cookie cutter and cut out your cookies. Lay in a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Bake at 375 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

Strawberry Puree

Puree as many strawberries as you like. I usually puree a whole container of them. Add about ¼ cup of honey and mix together well. Lay a heart cookie in a shallow bowl and top with strawberry puree and set in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours before serving. This gives the cookie time to absorb some of the strawberry puree. Right before you serve one to your sweetie-top it with some Fat-Free Cool Whip.
